Pedlars Place work on a 50% - 50% commission basis when selling an item, we do not purchase your items from you, once we have sold an item you will then receive 50% of the sale price. We are VAT registered and do charge 20% VAT on our 50% commission.
General items you bring into our shop stay for 4 weeks in total, with week 3 being a reduction date. Items that are large or expensive are generally with us for a longer period but we will discuss the period on a 'per item' basis.
On week 3, items that have not sold are usually reduced by 1/3 or 1/2 depending on what the item is and what we have agreed with you.
Any items that are not sold within the agreed period and if not collected get sent to charity shops or recycled.
Our taking in times are listed below, we need the afternoon to ticket and tidy. There are exceptions to our taking in time but you must call to discuss and arrange, we don't like to turn anyone away!
